Project Manager

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Group Project Office team.

In this role, you’ll lead country- and global-level Client implementation projects and chosen strategic projects using Ropo’s project model and act as an Ropo’s service expert for internal and external stakeholders. The person we are looking for will focus primarily on supporting the Finnish country organization in client projects.

You’ll ensure projects run smoothly, meet quality standards, and deliver results on time. Ropo's Group Project Office is a global expert unit responsible for the company’s most important initiatives, sharing knowledge and resources across national borders. As a Project Manager in this team, you’ll be at the heart of Nordic-level transformation projects. It’s a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution, while working closely with clients, partners, and internal teams across markets.

Ropo’s headquarters and core technology functions are located in Kuopio, Finland, which plays a significant role in the daily work of our Project Managers. You will collaborate closely with our Kuopio-based technology teams in solution design, technical implementations, and process development across markets.

Your Role

• Lead projects from planning to go live and documentation
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams
• Ensure resources and timelines are aligned with the project plan
• Communicate technical topics clearly across stakeholder groups

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in technical project management
• Relevant university degree (e.g. MSc Econ, BBA, MSc Computer Science)
• Fluent Finnish, Good English, both written and spoken
• Understanding of reading technical data structures and formats and basic knowledge of development processes.
• Experience working with client interface
• Business knowledge by industry and basic understanding of the technical environment
• Having a basic understanding of Finnish business and financial processes is a plus.
• Project management training/certification or equivalent experience
